Job Description

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder is hiring three teaching assistant professors in business communication for the Professional Effectiveness Division for Fall 2024.

Your key responsibilities will be:
Teach 24 credit hours (4 classes per semester) of business communication courses per academic year focusing primarily on oral communication, leadership effectiveness, career readiness, and teamwork.
Utilize online platforms including Canvas to provide lecture content.
Collaborate and coordinate well with colleagues to contribute to the goals of the division.
Continue partnership with corporate sponsors to maintain the integrity of course assignments.
Demonstrate flexibility in teaching methods to accommodate changes in course structure as needed.
Support campus-wide diversity and inclusion initiatives.

Academic Qualifications

Minimum requirement of a Master’s Degree in communication or a related field and three years of experience teaching business communication.

Experience Requirements

Preference will be given to candidates with a PhD in communication or those who are ABD.
